New rules on securities trading came into effect across the EEA on 3 January 2018 in the form of EU directives and regulations. The advantages of these include higher legal standards in investment advice (for example, when checking which financial products are suitable for which clients), more transparency in processing banking transactions and extended consumer protection provisions. As a result, a whole series of agreements and terms and conditions of business had to be reviewed and expanded by the date mentioned. Banks and financial services providers also have to meet high standards of due diligence. They are obliged to provide their clients with detailed information on products and services. We are happy to comply with this duty to supply information. The following explanations apply to all securities services and transactions listed on this website. They should be considered before any investment decision.
Not an offer
The information on this website is only a marketing message. It should not be regarded as either an offer or an invitation to make an offer. If you are interested in entering into an agreement, please arrange an advisory meeting, at which further information will be provided.
Information on tax treatment
All information on the tax treatment of investments refers to the current legal position and is expressed in the abstract. A client’s actual tax treatment depends on their personal circumstances and the applicable legal position and may change in future. Mason Privatbank Liechtenstein AG offers no warranty that the current legal position will continue to apply.
Information on performance
All mentions on individual web pages of the previous performance of financial products refer to past performance. This is not a guide to future performance. Forecasts of future performance are only a non-binding simulation. This is not a reliable guide to actual future performance because future trends on the capital market cannot be determined in advance. All performance figures shown are gross. These may be affected by costs such as commission, fees and other charges.
Where investments are denominated in a foreign currency, currency fluctuations can have both a positive and a negative impact on performance.
The information published on the Internet does not contradict other information from Mason Privatbank Liechtenstein AG we send to our clients at the same time about the same securities services, financial instruments and indices.
